Message
The Shimada Seminar is a group where members, though each has a different research topic, get along well and inspire one another. It’s perfect for those who want to explore their interests and questions beyond the confines of Japan. I look forward to meeting you in the Shimada Seminar and hearing about your research topics.

③ Educational issues of interest
-
My primary interest is in fostering non-cognitive skills for children’s well-being, which is also the focus of my research.
-
Furthermore, as someone aspiring to become a social studies teacher, I have a strong interest in the practical application of peace education and global citizenship education.
④ What I want to learn and what I want to try in the seminar
With an eye toward pursuing graduate studies, I would like to acquire the fundamentals of conducting research and writing academic papers.
I also hope to learn about comparative international education—specifically, how to apply insights gained from overseas education systems to the Japanese education system.
